For over twenty-five years, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Sacramento and Northeastern California has fulfilled the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Each child is given the opportunity to choose his or her own special dream come true.
Just like when a child selects their dream wish, when it comes to raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the only limit is your imagination!
Host an Event for the Make-A-Wish Foundation
Thank you for your interest in raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento & Northeastern California. It is wonderful to know that people within our community want to help us grant wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich their human experience with Hope, Strength, and Joy.
Approximately 55 yearly external events are held within our chapter region and are hosted by innumerable outside organizations and community groups. Some unique community events include fashion shows, golf tournaments, motorcycle rides, car shows, softball tournaments, bowling tournaments and silent auctions.
We provide planning and minimum to moderate event support as well as connecting external events with wish kids, their families, and sometimes a representative from our chapter. Please click on the links below for more information on coordinating your event!
Adopt-A-Wish®
By adopting a wish you too can be part of the magic. When you, your company, professional club, or student group chooses to adopt a specific child’s wish, you have the opportunity to become connected to the wish experience. Every wish is a unique and memorable experience for the wish child, the wish family and all those who participate in the wish. And many donors say they began the Adopt-A-Wish process after hearing a child’s memorable wish story.
