Adopt-A-Wish®

Everyone involved in fulfilling the wish of a sick child is touched by the magic of the experience…magic that brings hope, strength and joy to children and their families during a difficult time. A wish is something precious to look forward to and can make all the difference to a sick child and their family.

By adopting a wish you too can be part of the magic. When you, your company, professional club, or student group chooses to adopt a specific child’s wish, you have the opportunity to become connected to the wish experience. Every wish is a unique and memorable experience for the wish child, the wish family and all those who participate in the wish. And many donors say they began their support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation® and its endearing mission after hearing a child’s memorable wish story.

There are countless opportunities to make a child’s dream come true. The Adopt-A-Wish Program has the following levels for participation:

  • Computer or Shopping Spree Wishes: $2,500
  • Disneyland/Disney World, Celebrity and Electronics and play structures: $5,000
  • Hawaii, New York City, Large Gifts, Cruises: $7,500
  • International Wishes: $10,000

Adopt-A-Wish Recognition

Following the granting of the wish, you will receive:

  • A framed photo/or wish art of your child’s wish
  • Recognition on our chapter website
  • Acknowledgment in a Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento and Northeastern California publication
